What Is NUCCA?
NUCCA is a highly specialized technique that is designed to correct problems in the Atlas Subluxation Complex. What To Expect From A Women's Health Chiropractor
To be treated using NUCCA, our doctors must first conduct a thorough examination. This starts with our chiropractor taking the necessary x-rays. During this examination, an analysis is performed of the area where the bones at the top of your spine are in relation to your neck and skull. The results of the exam show the extent to which your spine is misaligned.
The exam will also include measuring your posture. Our doctors will use an Anatometer to measure your hips and determine their position and determine how that position affects your spinal alignment. Lastly, our doctors will check your legs to see if they are properly aligned, before making a diagnosis. If it is determined that you need to undergo the NUCCA procedure, it will be performed using gentle force.
